glau
is it still possible to have a fairly unspoilt holiday a la Durrell? Daughter is great fan and keen to go. Any suggestions? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3408-corfu-tips/ Share on other sites
Marmora Man
We stayed as a family in the North East of Corfu overlooking the channel across to Albania and had a great and peaceful time. Small inlet with village - two / three tavernas - all very quiet and laid back. Asset
only package I've ever been on, two weeks in Corfu flight & board for ?125. (1986) Ended up in Ipsos which was then a strip of tavernas along a strip of beach (beach about 2 metres deep). Had so little money all I could do was lie on said strip of beach and eat a stuffed tomato for dinner and so saw not a bit of the rest of the island which is purported to be the greenest and lovliest of all the Greek Isles. tommy
Paleokastritsa is pretty, and relatively unspoilt. Nice bays, tavernas, and laid back feel Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3408-corfu-tips/#findComment-106548 Share on other sites
CamberwellOz
My memory of Corfu? Stay away from The Pink Palace and don't go for a drinking nudey run in the dark. Corfu has many steps to fall up. Those bruises stayed for four months. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3408-corfu-tips/#findComment-106553 Share on other sites
