Bluemum
After my second c-section my back is not what it used to be. My new baby (well, not so new, he is 5 months now!), is a needy chap and will scream the house down unless he is on my arms. I've been trying to get things done around the house with a mix of letting him cry a bit and using Baby Bjorn, which is killing my back, so I can't cope for more than 10/15min until I need to get him off. I've heard Ergo and Manduca are much easier on the back, so I was wondering if anyone (with bad back) would confirm that as I can't invest nearly ?100 on something that will end up hurting me again!!! Faeriesmiles
We have an ergo for my hubby and he loves it. Would definitely buy another if we lost this one. However I recommend going to a local sling library as you can try them on and hire them to see what is best for you. I personally thing a wrap is the best way to carry baby and its really not as complicated as it looks. The wrap spreads the weight evenly no pressure anywhere if worn correctly. I love my wrap. But like I said pop to your local sling library and see what works for you x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34196-manducaergo-carrier-easier-on-my-back/#findComment-661234 Share on other sites
Pickle
I never found Baby Bjorn slings comfortable. We have a Patapum, which is very similar to an Ergo but much cheaper. You are welcome to borrow it for a while if you like?
