Recommendation for a Gardener

I'd just like to say that I was very happy with the recent service provided to me by T&T Gardening.

I posted a request for some patio relaying and plant removal here on the Forum, and they were very fast to respond with a polite message offering their services and contact number. I called them and Tom (Snr) came out the same day to give me a quote for the work. Of the 3 quotes I had done, his was the most reasonable, and he basically offered to take care of the whole thing from start to finish including buying and delivering of sand and cement, as well as removal of garden rubbish and a rather bulky - and spiky! - plant. I booked him to do the work, and over a 3 day period I found him to be punctual, pleasant, honest, reliable, hardworking, and most of all, good at what he does. He also cleaned up after himself, even inside the house. When I was around he was sure to check with me instead of making decisions without my approval, and when I wasn't around I gave him poetic license to do what he thought would serve best and I was very, very happy with the results.

We highly recommend Matthew Walker of Upton & Walker Gardening, a small local business. Matthew planned and designed new beds and plants for us and then did all the ordering and planting - and it looks great; a beautiful garden, with really well chosen plants that work throughout the year, that has looked really well established in no time. He also does maintenance work and is a really nice person to deal with and have around. He can be contacted on 07875 401 815 or at [email protected]

    • Nope that is boring,  I want something creative.  Maybe turn them into Xmas cards.  I understand from those daytime television programmes that don't involve buying houses, DIY, antiques, bargain hunting and the second World War that this is called 'upcycling'. AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed.
