Aston Villa V Man Utd

Norwich V Swansea

Tottenham V Liverpool

Liverpool not being in Europe and getting knocked out of the League Cup early, has probably helped their league form, especially as they haven't got a lot of quality outside their first 11. Injuries and suspensions come into play this time of year, so I expect their form will drop a little in the coming weeks. From a personal point of view a draw would be good but I think Spurs will nick it.

I've never liked the Saturday early doors games, especially if it's a big crucial game like City v Arsenal. It's never a decent atmosphere, most fans probably still hungover. Not sure for whose benefit it's on at that time. Certainly not the away fans. I don't think BT even benefit, surely their advertising revenue would be greater if the game was played in the afternoon/evening. I'm liking Sky's Saturday 5-30pm game though, perfect post-Saturday chores and pre-Saturday scoff and beers. City to put down a marker and win by at least 2 goals...

    • Nice to see the property is going to reopen with a Newish business, good luck to them.
    • Of course they do, watching cookery shows and buying cook books is a national pastime. However you raise a good point that some people claim they are time poor and end up eating out / takeaways as sometimes a quick macciedee is cheaper and easier than making a quick nutrious family meal.  However to put it in balance, not many people have the knowledge, confidence and time to cook Persian so good luck to team persepolis on this venture.
    • London doesn’t have a lot of Argentinian places specialising in empanadas, which suggests demand isn’t that great. There are many neighbourhoods with none at all or even nearby.  So for a mini-chain like Chango (several branches in SW London) to open here where there’s already a well established family run place doing the same feels a bit off.  I’ll be giving Chacarero my ongoing custom.
