AM hasn't withdrawn his resignation, so as maxxi has no qualms about the 9th placed team i.e. me, replacing him, I'll gladly take up the offer.

Revised draw...

EP v AqM

RC v SC

RD v Mx

OT v LG

Here are the fixtures...

EDF Cup - Sixth Round

Saturday 8th March 2014

Arsenal V Everton

Sunday 9th March 2014

Sheff Utd V Charlton

Hull V Sunderland

Man City V Wigan

So that no one gains any advantage by seeing what an opponent has predicted, all predictions are to be PM'd to me, and I'll post them once all received. For my match against maxxi, we need a volunteer to receive our predictions, any takers?...

You forgot the third option RD.Retract your insinuation that I mull over other peoples entries to gain an advantage before making mine. Then I'll retract my withdrawal. Simple. Where are your manners?

Don't bother. Before you climbed onto your self righteous, moral high horse, perhaps you should've checked the previous posts... chronologically.

When you do, you'll see that it's actually you who accused/insinuated someone by name first. Me.

I didn't name anyone until after you accused me. There was nothing in my initial post that insinuated it could be you.

Sorry, but I'm not to blame for your guilty conscience. If anyone should be apologising it's you...

Just my opinion.

I certainly won't be changing mine to 2-1 just so I'll stay above you! ;-)

> There are pros and cons with a ban on changing predictions. For instance if Barca announced today that Messi, Iniesta and Xavi were injured in training, I'd want to be able to change my prediction to reflect this. I think if someone did what you describe, it would be quite obvious and their 'win' would be tarnished. There are other loopholes in the format too, for instance there's nothing to stop someone waiting until everyone else has posted their predictions before posting their own. I can think of one player who is regularly one of the last to post their predictions... coincidence or tactics? I guess it comes down to the morals of the individual...

>I always thought that was you RD?

So it's ok for you to imply someone is less than honest but as soon as someone says it's you (which succeeded in getting you to name names) you get up on your high horse. You shouldn't have written what you did and now you are behaving like the boy who owns the football and takes it home when he's not winning.

Done - but I employed a team of out-of-work NOTW journos to hack your EDF a/c and sneak a peek at RD's predictions first. Hull to win by six!? Pah!

Like I said before, not my fault your conscience was pricked.

No one else has criticised what I wrote, whereas your childish, toys out the pram reaction was. Grow up...

    • Another recommendation for Dulwich Test and Services Centre. Only been using them for a couple of years but wish I’d found them earlier
    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
