i too went 2-1, though hovered over 1-1 for a bit thinking opening games are usually tense affairs.

and sure enough brazil misfired and depite being a bit lumbering croats more than held their own.

Haha, that bloke was well in to the footy last night, he seems to have some sort of drum which he was happily banging away (he was supporting Brazil). I don't think I'm going to need to volume up on my telly tomorrow night, as he is plenty loud enough for the both of us.

He seems a nice guy though, and I'm finding it slightly infectious.
