I am considering seeing a chiropracter for a hip pain that is now becoming unbearable. Granted I need to see a GP to have my bloods looked at but I don't anticipate even geeting treatment for 1 month due to the NHS being a withered dinosaur (Im considering bupa cover). However in the immediate term I am considering a chiropracter - Does anyone know of one ? Can anyone site experience of this sort of treatment ?

(also I'm dead set aginst the A&E for the sake of it route !)

I'd highly recommend Daniel Harvey. He's on Crystal Palace road (Dulwich Chiropractic Clinic). I've been seeing him for years for migraines and he is really thorough, intuitive and gentle, in a chiropractic sense.

I usually get an appointment promptly so you shouldn't have to wait too long to be seen

Good luck.

I'd also recommend Daniel Harvey. I've been seeing him on and off for many years, and he is wonderful. I've never had to wait more than a day for an appointment. He was also able to help my 86 year old mother recently who had been in agony with her hip for several weeks. Apart from being an extremely skilful practitioner, he is one of the most gentlemanly and professional people you could ever hope to meet.
I'm another happy customer of Daniels. Many years ago he sorted my back out just before running a marathon, and I've been going semi-regularly ever since for little niggles. Professional, gets results, but equally will be honest if he doesn't think he can help. Generally I get same day appointments when I phone, which is excellent.
Another vote for Daniel Harvey, have seen him for various back issues over the last 5years, never have to wait long for app, and treatment always helps very quickly. When I suffered from hip pain in pregnancy, he very kindly fitted extra appointments into his day to help me out.

    • The editing was clumsy and made it look like he said something specific, that he did not. That is obviously wrong, and the BBC have apologised and people have lost their jobs as a result. That said, the overall impression - that Trump repeatedly stated (and still does) that the election had been stolen, that he encouraged his supporters to march on the Capitol, that he repeatedly called for people to fight - in short that he inspired a violent insurrection - is entirely true.  Trump used the word 'fight' 20 times. Whilst his speech was going on, his supporters chanted "Take the Capitol", "Invade the Capitol", "Storm the Capitol" and "Fight for Trump" The documentary generally, was not misleading. The real scandal is that Trump wasn't tried and ended up back in power. I do think that we need to stop normalising Trump. He has a criminal history and is openly corrupt. He has shown himself to be a threat to democracy. The US right and their tech billionaire allies are having an malign impact on UK politics and culture, interfering both directly and indirectly, in ways that we should be doing more to challenge.
    • @beansprout I don't think Gails has closed, Do you mean Megans? I've never seen waiters at Gails. If you do mean Megans unfortunately I believe its just closed for refurbishment to be relaunched as some similarly awful 'concept'
    • Staff have changed and owner now taking a more active role….she is such a nice+lady so I encourage you to try again . I am all for supporting local business and personally very glad after appalling service earlier this year Gail’s has closed.. Change of staff and chefs were unreal.. In one month alone must have had at least 4 new chefs plus god knows how many waiters/ waitresses.. when Ai saw that happening, new it was gonna be down hill all the way.
