polla2256
I am considering seeing a chiropracter for a hip pain that is now becoming unbearable. Granted I need to see a GP to have my bloods looked at but I don't anticipate even geeting treatment for 1 month due to the NHS being a withered dinosaur (Im considering bupa cover). However in the immediate term I am considering a chiropracter - Does anyone know of one ? Can anyone site experience of this sort of treatment ?(also I'm dead set aginst the A&E for the sake of it route !) Clare11
I'd highly recommend Daniel Harvey. He's on Crystal Palace road (Dulwich Chiropractic Clinic). I've been seeing him for years for migraines and he is really thorough, intuitive and gentle, in a chiropractic sense. I usually get an appointment promptly so you shouldn't have to wait too long to be seen Good luck. GinaG3
I've also seen Daniel at Dulwich Chiropractic Clinic for migraine, neck and shoulder blade pain as recommended by a specialist. Would recommend him thoroughly. Sue
I also recommend Daniel Harvey at Dulwich Chiropractic Clinic.I've recommended him to others who have also been very happy with him.Luckily I haven't needed his services for a long time, but if I did I'd have no hesitation at all in going back to him. Growlybear
I'd also recommend Daniel Harvey. I've been seeing him on and off for many years, and he is wonderful. I've never had to wait more than a day for an appointment. He was also able to help my 86 year old mother recently who had been in agony with her hip for several weeks. Apart from being an extremely skilful practitioner, he is one of the most gentlemanly and professional people you could ever hope to meet. Pickle
I'm another happy customer of Daniels. Many years ago he sorted my back out just before running a marathon, and I've been going semi-regularly ever since for little niggles. Professional, gets results, but equally will be honest if he doesn't think he can help. Generally I get same day appointments when I phone, which is excellent. mima08
Another vote for Daniel Harvey, have seen him for various back issues over the last 5years, never have to wait long for app, and treatment always helps very quickly. When I suffered from hip pain in pregnancy, he very kindly fitted extra appointments into his day to help me out. Gingerbeer
Currently its ?36 for your visit, ?16 concession. But I think the initial appointment/consultation is a little more, maybe ?45, as the visit is longer, more thorough, etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34685-any-good-chiropracters-anyone-ever-used-one/#findComment-665416 Share on other sites

Gingerbeer
Maybe not. I guess its habit being from the U.S. to assume that chiropractors are licensed D.C., which would make them a doctor of chiropractic. I'm sure titles and licenses are different here, old habits just die hard.
