You could  take a photo of it and offer it for free on the Facebook page - Free Stuff South East London - that way someone might come and collect it.

If you have your own transport you can take it to the recycling centre of Old Kent Road.

Otherwise you can book a pick up with the council and its £30 

Only trouble with Southwark council collection is that they won’t collect from inside your property, you need to leave it outside for them to collect. All good if you’ve got someone to help you carry the sofa outside but if not you’ll need to pay a bit more for removal people.

    • Do you mean they are chopping branches from trees in your garden? I would definitely get advice on that eg from the neighbourhood police. I'm not familiar with the law, but that sounds like trespass to me, even if they are not actually standing in your garden. People are entitled to chop off branches etc which are overhanging their own garden, but I am pretty sure they are  not allowed to lean over and chop off anything in yours, whether they dislike it or not.
