plumber recommendation

a belated recommendation for Niko the plumber, who I originally found through recommendations on the forum. He came out on a Sunday, the day I called him and installed a new cartridge in my expensive tap that had been leaking for a year (no problems since!) and came up with a solution for the waste water pipe from my washing machine that was cheaper and easier than suggestions from other people. He's very friendly too, likes to chat! Call - 07818 607583. I will be using him again.

I'd like to second this recommendation. Nico is great - he came round to do some simple plumbing repairs to our flat before we moved out and rented it to tenants. He was very honest about work that did and didn't need doing (rather than charging us for work that wasn't necessary), did a really excellent job of sorting out the waste pipe on our ancient, awkward enamel kitchen sink. Best of all, he was very reasonably priced - much cheaper than other local firms - and the service was really excellent. He is a lovely, friendly guy and we will definitely be using him for any further plumbing issues with the flat!

Another big recommendation for Nico. We had our washing machine delivered Tuesday by Curry's, it was supposed to be plumbed in but was told the valves had gone. Nico arrived within 2 hours of me calling him after the idiots from Currys left, the valves hadn't gone he plumbed it in fine, was clean, tidy and friendly - great job!

Almost exactly the same scenario but with nice chaps from John Lewis being unable to plumb new washing machine in and Nico saving the day within a couple of hours. What a great chap Nico is. Thoroughly recommend him.

I contacted Niko after reading this thread and he helped me fix a leaking radiatior which was due to my previous builders not cutting the right length of pipe to connect to the radiator. Niko came within the hour to help me out and was very friendly and honest.

I highly recommend him and will be using him in the future.

I got in contact with Niko after reading this thread - he helped me fix a stuck stopcock. Came round within an hour of me calling him - was very friendly and informative. Very reasonably priced and honest. I would definitely recommend him.

Niko has been over twice in the last 24 hours to fix a couple of DIY failures. Very helpful, professional and friendly. He came out at extremely short notice and charged a fair price. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Will definitely use again.

I would also like to recommend Niko the plumber. After reading these recommendations above, I called him for a urgent shower fix and he came round very quickly, suggested replacing a part rather than pulling out the whole, and got it done quickly. Excellent plumber.

Another recommendation for Niko. He came round at very short notice to fix a faulty valve using one of his own spares instead of a new part. Functioning perfectly and done for less than a standard call out charge. He also phoned a couple of days later to make sure it was functioning properly. A really great service and I will definitely be using him for future jobs.
