the fly at top of barry road

apols for raising a subject am sure has been raised before, but does anyone know why we have that giant tea drinking fly at the top of barry rd and how long it will be there for. it is starting to do my head in. Thanks. N

I thought the one at top of Barry road was a flying ant! I'm all for a bit of mural-ING but I really don't like the fly/bee/ant it gives me the creeps..

I agree about the rat on the side of the Vic in Bellenden road who really wants to look at a giant rat fouling the pavement.

Actually I think it was done with the help of local schoolchildren.

There is a thread on it somewhere.

The original mural had to be repainted after some stupid council employees dealt with graffiti on it by painting over the whole lower half of the mural.

It is the flamingo that is really galling - the rest is ok. Shame the original was vandalised once by an oik and once by the Council.
