After Spurs enormously impressive win last night, a game that in the past we could so easily have lost. Is there beginning to be a grudging respect for Spurs. This article addresses that and a few other things to.

That might be because last year everyone except Spurs fans wanted Leicester to win the title. Now it's the much hated Chelsea who we're all hoping slip up.

Chelsea have been excellent and fully deserve the title- we'll never catch them (we'd have to win all remaining games and Chelsea lose 3- not going to happen). But, if all teams win games in hand we'll still be 7 points ahead of third. Surely even Spurs can't throw away second place; which, if you'd offered it at the start of the season knowing that Conte, Guardiola, Mourinho (plus a couple of hundred of millions pounds worth of new players) were incoming and Klopp was in his second season, i'd have bitten your hand off.

Absolutely.


I hope and pray we decide to stay at the Lane next season, which is a possibility, as we need to kick on again if we're serious about winning the league. The other teams will.

Well the title may be going South but it's official, the best places to watch football are the Midlands and North.

It's his 21st birthday today and the stats just keep stacking up.


"Dele Alli is 21 on Tuesday and is better than Cristiano Ronaldo was when it comes to making and scoring goals.

The Tottenham and England midfielder has been involved in 40 goals so far in his fledgling career. Compare that to Ronaldo, who had been involved in 25 by the time he was 21, scoring 14 and assisting in 11."



"Dele Alli (40) has been involved in as many Premier League goals before turning 21 as Frank Lampard (15), Steven Gerrard (13) and David Beckham (12) combined."



"He has now also scored more league goals (16) this season than any other under-21 player in Europe's top five leagues."

      This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.

      I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?

      What standing on the world stage? Starmer is a wannebe leader, no charisma, no passion, no leadership but tonnes of dithering, wringing his hands and pooing his pants.  I'd love to see Burnham give him a run for his money. Reason he became Mayor of Manchester was due to him no longer wanting to be in front line politics.  This thread has now gone well off topic, perhaps it needs renaming. Mandy and Keith's bathrobe Or, how Mandy stuck it to Starmer
