Last year I think I predicted Arsenal which shows what I know. So here goes.

Man U

Arsenal

Man C

Spurs

Relegation

Huddersfield

Watford

Brighton

Promoted

Preston

Fulham

Villa

ETA I was going to select for relegation, Spurs, Liverpool and West Ham but that was only because no one would disagree with me......

Other way round I think AM. They lost 5-0 in the first leg away from home (Artmedia Brataslava I think), and then failed to claw that back in the home leg.

It was Strachan's first month or so in charge, so as Rogers' second season there is "no" chance of that happening now. We are a well oiled machine.

Interestingly, Strachan's second season he got through the groups and into the last 16, losing to AC Milan by a single goal, Milan then lost to Liverpool in "that" final.

The Gospel according to David Moyes, aka ''It had nothing to do with me Guv''...

I think Harry Redknapp got it right when he said Antonio Conte couldn?t have kept up Sunderland last season.

Look at Manchester United. It?s taken them a few hundred million to get them in a good order.

At Real Sociedad, we kept them up, we did the job we had to do there.

The only one that looks a little bit out of sync is Sunderland. And it was probably the hardest to take. I think my record of losing two games in a row was minimal.

Still getting used to the pace of the Premier League - but IMHO he will.

Mind - nobody was doing anything except defend against Spurs.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
