Apart from AY being shot this week, a lot of stuff about United seems to be focusing on how boring they are to watch. This appears to come from the Moyes watchers who are awaiting the fall of the Empire. In my opinion United have for the most part been boring in CL matches away from home for some time now when it was more a case of ensuring they didn't lose than having to win. Not attractive to watch, though I actually thought this weeks game was one of their better ones.

As I'm not an avid watcher of other teams in the CL, do you think most group matches are more of an endurance test than entertainment?

Er. No they didn't. Not a poppy in site.

It's a shame that county decided to fold to the lowest of your fans knowing that a silence would be spoilt.

Pretty poor week for the reputation of 'the greatest fans in the world'.

You'd think they'd still respect the dead to be honest. I think that was a poor decision.

Maybe an interesting history lesson for some. Without the famine there may not have been a Glasgow Celtic or indeed Hibernian or Dundee United in Scotland. I'm not advocating disrespecting the dead of the great wars but there are historical reasons involved that make it a complex question as to why some choose to. Personally I think people should be able to keep quiet for a minute as a mark of respect to those who it means something to.

I can't explain the following though:

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
