Former West Ham defender Julian Dicks on BBC Radio 5 live:

"Man City are a great side but the least you expect from your players as a supporter is to work hard and give 100%.

"It costs supporters a fortune to go to Manchester City and it was a case of players not giving a flying monkeys how they performed. The work rate over the last half a dozen games has been disgraceful

"We all have bad games and make mistakes but what you expect every single game is to give 100%. To watch some of them play is embarrassing.

"I cannot see a way how Sam Allardyce can continue, they got beat 5-0 by Forest and 6-0 at City and I can understand how the fans feel. The football is not good."

BFS said pre Forest that he was concentrating on todays game, earlier today, so I have been told, he allegedly said was going to Etihad with a 10 man defence. Negredo in his post match interview said it is difficult when you are up against pure defence. Probably why only 6 of MCFCs 30 something chances only went in. Feel sorry for travelling fans in that scenario, been there, seen that and saw us beaten at York away in 3rd Division !!!
The reports from neutral pundits re pretty scathing and that fat fooker is still towing his normal excuse making sh1te I genuinely don,t care if we go down or not as long as he goes. Hopefully tomorrow....but not holding my breath. I don,t want to support a team with him in charge and I think the majority of our fans now feel that too. Losing to city is no disgrace but like that is, especially after the forest game.

I don't know what to say and quite frankly I'm at the point of not caring. The whole situation at WHUFC makes me feel unclean, from the odious porn twats to the most unimaginative, egotistical prick ever to visit Upton Park.

I want my brilliant, comical, wonderful club back.

I'm pretty sure I heard in the Sunderland v Man Utd commentary that United hadn't had a penalty given against them in the Premiership in 77 games.

Anyway, West Ham look doomed. No fight whatsoever and BFS is clueless. I can empathise as Spurs Went through a similar period recently with AVB who turned out to be a negative one trick pony.

As above. BFS gone in the morning surely.

You're entitled to your opinion but you are wrong. My dig is no differnt to yours in my view and if RD takes it personally that's his prerogative. We all take the opportunity to enjoy poor results or performance of opposing teams and if that upsets RD, too bad

That was very funny, gallows humour at it's best.

At the time of writing BFS is still manager, I reckon the Board will wait until the Cardiff match, and see what kind of performance is put in then. Is Carroll back then? Heard he looks like Jesus...come to save the day

    • I'd also like to highly recommend Niko. He just replaced the extraction fan in our bathroom, having previously installed a new tap for us. Fast, professional and a really great guy.
    • Agree with this. He's stood down from his role in Cabinet having left the Party, but he was elected as a representative of all the constituents in his ward and logic suggests that he should continue to represent them as a councillor for his remaining 3 months. He might wish to stand again, as a Green, in that ward (if he's chosen) and hope that personal loyalty to him might transfer, but that's now the call of his (new) party and him. He will have to balance that with a view about how many of his Labour supporters will feel sufficiently betrayed to continue to support Labour. I suspect, I may be wrong, that he will not have a cabinet position open to him after May (unless the Greens sweep in locally) so presumably he will have to consider his next career move, and whether that's back to full-time primary teaching.
