Lot more history than that I think.

Swans board doesn't sack usually - not in 10 years -

but issues with the agent, the fact everyone seems to think

ML was leaving in the summer and as the board said, the gradual

erosion of Swansea's principles.

Chico didn't do any play acting against Cardiff - so maybe a

Garry Monk had a quiet word.

Stoke - Swansea next up - not one I would have gone for the Swans

in - but will be interesting if they can get a point.

I just about managed to stay awake for the pool (thank God they were on first) before passing out on the sofa.

Yeah, very pleased to see them win that in that style. That's exactly the sort of match they'd have lost in previous years (or last week even).

I was also pleased to see Gerrard afterwards acknowledge that they'd dropped 2 points and missed an opportunity last week, and that they couldn't afford mistakes what with Spurs breathing down their necks (very good result for them last night too!).

Jose Mourinho would love to see Celtic playing in the Premiership.

The Chelsea boss has won titles in England, Italy, Portugal and Spain but knows that few clubs have the magic of Celtic.

With the second biggest ground in Britain Celtic are ideally placed to add to the 'Premiership brand' a unique combination of history, passion and drama.

Stars such as Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Clarence Seedorf have gone on record with their admiration of all things Celtic with the Chelsea boss in no doubt that the hoops would bring a new dimension to the Premiership.

"Ive thought a few times over the years about Celtic moving down to England," he told The Sun.

"When I have been in England I have asked my colleagues why Celtic are not playing in the Premier League. They are a big club, with a big support and a famous history.

"They had a strong run last season in the Champions League, but they will always be limited because competition does not seem to be there for them up in Scotland.

"It wouldn't be easy to make it happen, the problem would be an agreement with teams who would not want to drop out of the leagues down here.

I like to think fans are different and everyone is an individual.

Chelsea had a national front element from what I hear and had a combat 18 element which is placing them in an awkward right wing position.

No class with that element for sure but im sure they have decent fans too.

The day Celtic are admitted to the premier league is the day Scottish football dies (cries of 'what Scottish football?') - I don't care about celtic/rangers and their infantile squabbles but the depth of football north of the border which would surely suffer irreparably.

But if they do maybe we could invite a few other footballing third world nations to send in their best too - Iceland's top team maybe and Ireland and - where exactly is San Marino and Liechtenstein?

I am surprised a team for whom a significant majority of their fans claim the English as imperialit oppressors constantly, want to be in our league and I am not sure a team who large sections of their support glorify terrorism would be that welcome in England either. Too much putrid old school stuff in the tedious and romanticised 'old firm' crap, leave it in Glasgow and Ulster as far as I am concerned....

Why don,t Celtic join the Irish league that,s where they belong...

    • I would challenge that. Price is a function of supply and demand - that's what I learnt at school anyway. It doesn't matter what your costs are, if supply increases and demand remains constant, prices (rents) will fall. And vice versa
    • Strange isn’t it…..other European countries s actually come up with solutions to house homeless people, which are pod structure, use of office blocks, etc. homeless are provided with thermals, warm sleeping bag and tent or pop up tent plus tech friendly clothing which means they are warm in extreme conditions. Us in UK? Nothing but chuckinto house of multiple occupation, which is usually not warm and not all have mould, but some do.. live in one room even if you are a family with good only knows what other sort of people…  not referring to ethinicity here but more along the lines of mental health problems, drugs, alcoholics. Single and families all in one property. Or if you are one of the lucky ones, into a hotel you go…   Why don’t we as a nation claw back more money in the form of tax  or avoidance avoidance, off shore accounts or other ways that rich or investors do buck the system….
    • Hello! I’m considering buying the demise for the loft-space above my flat (facing the classic renovate or move scenario for an additional bedroom or 2). Has anyone had recent experience of buying the demise from Southwark? Interested to know how they’re handling the premium/valuation.  thanks!
