I know they didn't have to do a lot but Bayern bored the arse off me.

In Pep's image (including the sneaky fouls and the diving in the box) they ticky-tacky-ed the ball to death with Robben doing his "Let's all slow down" act every time they got the ball.

It might make a change to see an Arsenal game where it's pass and pass and pass and sideways pass and pass and wait and pass and possession and pass and back and pass and just as you're nodding off you realise not only have they barely moved forward and not only have they not had a shot on goal but it isn't even Arsenal doing it - but if this is how they are to play in future I think BM have lost their verve.

Maybe BFS could liven them up... (I really have got to stop flogging that equine corpse)

Fancy you trying to goad Arsenal supporters. There's a first.

I like to think he was coming right - after all he scored last weekend and has had many assists

Putting a foot isn't why we bought him, and as for Mac, he was clearly trying to goad as is his way with all things Arsenal, clearly he has a bitterness which must be related to the club for some reason only he knows. Also apparently he has a ham string injury rather than needing a rest.

Ladygooner, Mac is trying to goad us, ignore, hopefully he may go away.

Ozil looked like he just didn't want to be there. Wouldn't surprise me if his 'injury' is another break to sort out his head. Good news for Arsenal and England fans though is that AOC had a great game. His rampaging bull runs through the centre of Bayern's midfield were Rooney Euro2004esque...

If you've got a problem message me privately. You've accused me of calling you a racisr, which was bollocks, and then had the nerve to call me a K*nt.

Bottom line is I didn't call him a racist, nor did I use abusive language towards him.

    • Not only can he turn olive oil into Vermouth, but also water into a wine. A true miracle worker.  I wouldn't say a wine shop sells a wide variety of things - and there are two right next to each other.  And once upon a time, upmarket pizza shops were very specific. So were burritos etc. They're clearly becoming mainstream; we should consider ourselves lucky to be witnessing this exciting upward trend within our lifetimes and on OUR HIGH STREET. We can tell our grandkids that we remember when there was no internet and no empanadas.  I'm sure that if the family empanada people have a good business head, they'll be able to ride this wave of competition, just like Bruno has.
    • Very economical. Are you available for events? I've got a gathering of 5000 coming up soon. What could you knock up with two little fishes and five loaves of bread? Cod in breadcrumbs? Fish finger sandwiches? Spanish-style croquetas de bacalao with a Romesco sauce? It's BYOB for beer, so there's no need to worry about that and I've managed to do an unbelievable deal on water and wine. Drop me a DM on here or ask for Dave or Jesus (pronounced 'Hay-Zooze') in The Herne, left hand side of the bar.
