red devil
Nice bit of double standards from Roberto Martinez, in the build up to Sunday's game with Utd he's been moaning about Moyes raiding his old club for Fellaini on the last day...pray tell Roberto, where from and on what day did you sign James McCarthy?... Atticus
DM's initial offers were derisory, RM paid and offered fair price for JM. Check the facts before slinging mud. Otta
Agree with Atticus I'm afraid RD. Moyes took the piss with the double bid and accusing Everton of holding the players back. He'd have been livid if he'd been Everton boss. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/103/#findComment-739822 Share on other sites

Tell that to Wigan... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/103/#findComment-739833 Share on other sites

red devil
Can't beat a good bit of irony. Remember the cries of skullduggery when Mourinho let Mata go to Utd right after we played Chelsea, the consensus being that Mata could then go on to affect Chelsea's title rivals? Guess what team Borini's parent club is... :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/103/#findComment-739839 Share on other sites
Parkdrive
Nice to see the specailist in failure losing his first home game to Sunderland. Come on Liverpool, it's all yours. maxxi
If they weren't paid so much you'd think ManC & Chelski were taking bungs or the Mackems were doped - weirdly I think this puts a little bit more pressure on Liverpool now. They can only blow it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/103/#findComment-739855 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
Having watched MOTD, that was never a Sunderland penalty, the player stepped on the Chelsea defenders foot and then slipped. Lots of decisions are going Liverpools way these last few weeks, not that I'm bothered. red devil
Chelsea got lucky when they were given a penalty in their home game against West Brom, these decisions tend to even themselves out over a season, although I don't think Steve Clarke will think that.BFS is the guest on Sky's Goals on Sunday programme. More irony. I'm surprised no journalist has ever let slip a BFS during an interview...''So Big Fat Sam, welcome to the programme, what did you think of the game yesterday?...'' maxxi
Allardyce claimed the boos were understandable because "no one likes losing" - like it was all down to missed chances and bad luck on the day, that it was the result that made fans unhappy - They booed you when you won too you two-faced hypocritical swivel-eyed git. They booed because first it was Stoke handing out a beating while playing more attractive football, then their former manager doing it with Palace. As for Hansen and Shearer on MOTD with their "What is the West Ham Way anyway?" and "Sam's safe" - perfect examples of smug out-of-touch tossers who earn their living from the game and have absolutley no idea what it's like to be a fan. Otta
From BBC Website"This is the first time in the entire history of the beautiful game that Liverpool and Everton have completed the double over Manchester United in the same season. 4-0 to Merseyside." In his post match interview he thought the team played well, which as Jamie Carragher said, is worrying...''I must have been watching a different match''What Atticus said about 'pool, although I think there is at least one more twist in the tale. Otta
I'm just not saying anything about LFC and their chances until it's all done and dusted. This weekend has been perfect for us (City slipping again tomorrow would be even better, but can't see it), but until something is won, it's not won. Er, obviously.
