He's not a bad player, and has had a steady season in La Liga. I don't know if it's true but it's all over twitter. I hope Remy being at the last game of the season was a sign, but who knows.

Despite the names of Koeman, Poyet and Moyes being bandied around, the departure of Joe Cole (after being totally ignored by Allardyce or shoved out on the wing to be another provider of long balls in) and Morrison looking like joining Swansea seems to point to BFS being kept on.


Another season of: Thump - "Get on the end of it! ... Big strong lad... importance of a clean sheet..." beckons

He's a talented lad and grounded, which I like a lot. Thought Giouds back heel to set it up was good play, as for Cazorla's free kick, quality. Well done to Hull for making it a great game to watch, well form the 45 minute onwards anyway. I went with my son and 2 of his mates to a pub in Holloway Road to watch it, and had as much booze poured over me as I got down my neck. I know people like to celebrate, but don't they know how bloody dear a pint is these days?

I think the dilemma of the owners at WH is that they have to stay in the PL with the move to the Olympic Stadium happening. They know SA will deliver that with his record. However, what manager could they get who could ensure PL status and get WH playing the way they think (or their fans at least) they should be playing? Add, on a budget, to that. Perhaps Moyes would?


I missed the FA Cup Final as I chose to watch Barca v AM. That was fantastic but so it seems the Cup Final was, which is fairly unusual.


The CL Final should be good.

Having just watched the highlights I have to say that I thought the refereeing was pretty poor at the FA Cup. There were 3 good penalty shouts for Arsenal and every time Huddlestone took a free kick he move it a good few years forward - 8 yards in one case highlighted by the ITV cameras. I hate to whinge about referees but really they need to get better on these big occasions.

That may be the dilemma for the board - and I think it's moot that he'd keep us up on last year's show anyway. But for fans, paying ?800+ for a season ticket for absolute dogshite football, with a manager who insults us and our club, has been linked with dodgy deals around our best player, who he won't now play as Morrison 'grassed him'...I don't care he's a fat cooker and i and most of us want him out whatever the consequences, millionaire pundits with their patronising shite on MOTD haven't a clue about proper fans...

Whatever the consequences.........be careful what you wish for. You could plummet down a division or two. Having worked at UP for 6 months and seen how ruthless the current regime was about people who had worked there for years, I have no time for the owners or their very senior representative. What you've written is emotional but not rational. It's not your club and you haven't been insulted. Frankly if you played beautiful football you wouldn't care if the mafia ran the club. Would you?

Even if this were true - which isn't a given by any means - the result might be the club and BFS moving to the Olympic Stadium but the fans staying away.


Don't think the porn bros. will be too keen on crowds of under 20,000 in a massive shite stadium (for watching football that is - and yes I've seen all the drawings - fans are too far away, it'll be crap) especially watching the thump and run that will have been played for the intervening years.

If a man like Pulis can change his spots and start a team playing exciting football then almost ANY manager should be able to attempt it without the disaster that most ill-informed commentators seem to predict as an inevitability. Any except a stubborn "My bloody way or the bloody highway" old sod who has a muscle for a brain.

They used to! We've always had arseholes as owners/chairmen etc so the poisonous Brady bunch are nothing new - what is new is that clubs NEED to attract fans now more than ever and if the fans say 'stuff it' the club is in trouble.


It is not all or nothing. Clubs will be relegated and come back up as they always have done and if that happens it won't be a disaster if the club is playing good football. They will get back into the PL and probably have an increased following as has happened in the past. If they get relegated playing Sam's way then they lose PL status AND fans.

      Good luck with this - there have been several requests over the years by students needing to do infant observations.  I was lucky when I did mine  - way back in 1994 at a local nursery. Have you tried contacting the NCT to see if there are any local groups who would be willing to participate? As a mother of 2 - found the observation very informative - mine was a 2 year old child as my course stated a child under 3. Got my highest grade for this project so was very happy.

      Happy birthday! I've just read a bunch of your reviews and really enjoyed it. You write Interestingly without being too ornate, and you manage to give a really good insight into the "vibe" of a place as well as the food. Totally agree with your review of Rocca - it's simple, great food in a friendly atmosphere at a completely reasonable price, esp considering the location.

      Hello,  I am a 52-year old mother and an integrative counsellor who lives and works in West Dulwich, SE21. In mid January I am starting a new training in Parent Infant Psychotherapy (helping parents to bond with their babies), and a key component of the course is a 24-month infant observation.  I’m looking for someone who will be giving birth ideally in January or February and who would allow me to observe their baby for one hour a week until the baby’s second birthday. The baby can be awake or asleep, playing, feeding, eating or interacting with carer/s and family members - whatever they normally do at that time.  The purpose of the observation is to enable me to gain a thorough knowledge of very early infant development and to develop the capacity to maintain an observationally minded and non-judgemental attitude in my work as an infant-parent psychotherapist.  I will provide enhanced DBS clearance and I’m happy to answer any questions.  Please forward this email to anyone who might be interested, email me at [email protected] or call me on 07949716043.       I keep my promises...had the Sweet & Sour Chicken.  It was great - the best sweet and sour dish I've ever had. The chicken itself was good and the sauce seemed home made with real vegetables and pineapple - it is NOT the red sugar sauce goo you get elsewhere.  The Korean fried chicken was very good but the sweet chili sauce was much more chili than sweet - just far too spicy for me. There is a honey something sauce that I will get next time. Egg fried veggie rice was good as a side.  We also ordered the chicken katsu curry which was polished off so quickly I didn't get to taste it. It looked very good tho. SD is not like Magic Wok used to be - cheap and filling but junk food. (Don't get me wrong - I went often to Magic Wok). SD's food is much higher quality, real ingredients, chunky portions, freshly prepared. I'll be back, for sure.
