I won't wet my pants. Much as I liked Larsson as a player...... unproven as a manger. Lennon was very good, sorry to lose him.

Maybe, maybe... But I honestly reckon he'll give Liverpool at least one more season and see how things go / who they sign.

But imagine a Real team with Ronaldo, Bale and Saurez. Scary.

A friend of my mine is based in Madrid for work reasons. He's telling me that the Suarez is a done deal as far as they are concerned. And yes very scary.

To be fair the thread has been a bit dead for a while...post-season come down?...pre-World Cup lull?

Nothing much had been said about the England squad, LVG's appointment (which was the catalyst for Giggs to retire), or even tonight's Champions League final.

It goes without saying that Giggs, to Utd fans anyway, is a genuine legend in a world where that term is overused. I'm glad the club didn't retire his shirt number, never understood why some clubs do. Instead, an iconic shirt number should act as an inspiration for future players...

Atletico showed they can play act with the best of them tonight (that's why there was 5 mins of injury time Senor Simeone). Speaking of which, moaning about 5 mins of injury time when RM scored their equaliser in the third minute of injury time seems a bit odd.
