It might be for you if I supported Celtic.

You got that right

"For even more unpredictability, the Scottish Championship now has three of the highest supported and attended clubs in the country among its ranks. Rangers, Hearts and Hibs are all battling to gain promotion to the Premiership this year and it?s very difficult to work out who?s more likely to do it first."

The thought of Hibs and Rangers as the new Old Firm battling it out for promotion, is a nice little twist on Rangers expected rise to the SPL, Alan Stubbs might be a decent manager for Hibs.

The Scottish Championship is the league to watch folks. No buts.

David Moyes sectioned after Manchester plane bomb attempt

Moyed sectioned

Embittered former Man United boss, David Moyes, has been sectioned after trying to fly a bomb-laden plane into Old Trafford.

Moyes was travelling back from a football-research trip to Qatar when it is understood he had too much to drink and began muttering obscenities under his breath.

Fellow passengers became concerned when Moyes then launched into an open foul-mouthed tirade about how he was going to ?make those Manc bastards pay?.

The currently unemployed 52 year-old became further enraged when a stewardess urged him to calm down, remarking ?Don?t you think the people of Manchester have suffered enough??

Moyes was later found to be carrying a mature haggis packed with nitroglycerine, which somehow evaded airport security.

Experts suggested the Scot may have smuggled the crude device in his rectal cavity and are surprised the haggis didn?t go off.

The authorities have meanwhile condemned the stunt and say it could usher in a bleak new era of obligatory rectal searches at all major airports, and Birmingham International.

Holidaymakers are now being advised to turn up at their departure gates up to four hours early with some lube and relaxing music, preferably pan-pipes.

Pundit Alan Hansen said, ?This has gotta be the stupidest thing Moyes has done since writing a cheque for Marouane Fellaini.?

?Had he succeeded it would have set Van Gaal?s plans back several years and would have given Stretford a much-needed makeover.?

For security reasons, police are releasing few details about the incident but later confirmed that they have detained a heavily sunburnt man from the Glasgow area.

The only good thing about tonight is the penny might drop with the board that you don't get into the champions league for free, you need to invest, and if you blend lack of investment with the wrong manager, you are buggered.

On tonights score, this team is not good enough for any European competition.

Slight reluctance to write off the manager is that Strachan lost 5-0 in his opening CL qualifier and failed to qualify. Next season beat AC Milan and Benfica to make the last 16, but this guy looks real bad so far, real bad.

Oh hang on, it could be worse. What was that you saying about ducking into the Europa Cup?

We all have bad days Jah, that's what makes the good days good.

I'd have been happy to front up to Spurs at any time over the last 10 years under O Neill, Strachan or Lennon.

Now with this guy in charge I'd fear being drawn against Spurs in the Europa play off. That's how bad things have got. No disrespect, but for Celtic that's bad.

Mick not saying you are wrong but Lennon's first season saw us go out to Braga in the Champions League and then out to Utrecht in the Europa qualifier.

SCSB79 you really are a boring prat. Enjoying the Petrofac Training cup? When do you reckon you will go bust again? Cant come soon enough.

    • I never said I thought it was targeted or deliberate. There also has never been a “stand off” or confrontation, we’ve spoken to them in a friendly manner about it. Our experience is they don’t seem to care. That’s the frustrating thing for us, if someone politely raises a concern at least take a second to reflect. Treat others how you would want to be treated.  I don’t want them to lose their job, far from it. But considering it could cost me a days work to fix any damage, I’m within my right to try prevent it.
    • The SE22 Evri delivery family are lovely, and always say hello wherever we spot them in the area. We gave them a box of chocolates during Covid as they were working their socks off at Christmas
    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.
