On current form I'd say we are below average. I was so bored watching last night's match that I actually turned away from the TV to do something else. I've never done that before. Ever.

I think I lost it around about the time we'd gone one-nil down and we needed a goal so what does our manager do? He takes off our only striker who made the trip to Turkey.

Can anyone explain how lucky Man U have been recently? Five wins in a row normally doesn't come easily in the PL. Has the overall standard dropped this season? There are only two half decent teams this season, the top two. I'm baffled that United are third as they are just not a team yet.

With European teams speaking out against a move to winter for the WC maybe they and theirs could speak out a little more on this too.

It's much older than that RD. It's always good fun to remember peoples comments and make them accountable. Especially ones that I didn't expect. And Im pretty sure you said Celtic were doing well despite Lennon rather than because of him.

My brother in law said Lennon was a wonker. I'm seeing him at Christmas, I'll have a word with him too.

I'm making friends everywhere this festive season.

You're probably right Mick. I remember at the time that I thought what NL was achieving at Celtic would've been matched or bettered by A.N. Other manager. Good luck to him, I think he needed a change and challenge...

Yeah, that's called sport. Fans of the team in 4th place have every right to expect their best side to run out against the team in 1st. It's called competition innit.

The excitement in Scotlands second league continues. Hibs are on a roll and chasing Rangers for the second promotion spot after their 4-0 win over the Gers today. But Hearts have the winning birth sown up. Hibs probably favourites to come second.

SCSB - happy new year. Ally ran away before the old firm game.

It's also called squad rotation. With 4 games in 10/11 days and then a difficult away FA Cup tie to follow, as a fan I would expect players to be rested, with priority given to the more winnable games...

    • Another happy customer. Would recommend Lucasz. Good quality work and reasonable rate

    • Walking around, it looks to me as if weedkiller has been used, as some weeds have been left in situ but are dead. However, most of the weeds which have been (apparently)  killed in this way are hardly likely to lift pavements, being things like Shepherd's Purse. They might seed around, but I'm not sure what harm that does. I would like to know exactly what is the remit of the council workers who are tasked with dealing with weeds in pavements (and in tree pits?). Things like dandelions which have taproots (but are hard to remove in one piece)  have been left in the pavement,  whereas things like Toadflax (which don't, and are easy to just pull out) have been removed.
