He seems more annoyed that this 'private' conversation is in a book - than the fact that it never happened...


'I?m so annoyed about it. They?ve gone ahead ? as I understand it, what I?ve said to them privately has just got out. Or what I?m accused of saying to them privately, which I deny and can?t remember it, they?ve gone out publicly and said it and yet they?re saying themselves it was said to them privately. Oh it?s very private then to publish a book about it, isn?t it?'

Alan Dunne has been a bit of a liability as of late. Receiving red cards for rash decisions.


Also making silly mistakes resulting in goals being conceded and fracas with David Forde.


Neil Harris has released 18 players from the Millwall squad.


Carlos Edwards, Ricardo Fuller, Danny Shittu , Martyn Woolford , Nicky Bailey, Matthew Briggs, Richard Chaplow,

Apparently Camweon said he got confused as he'd been past Upton Park earlier that day but he was a solid Villa fan who used to go with his uncle. What he failed to mention was he'd been past Upton Park n a helicopter and his uncle used to own Aston Villa!

He probably supports Burnley too.


Asked how he felt after that gaff he said "He felt like kicking himself harder than a Benteke shot". He's obviously been briefed and even knows a player now.

      Excellent Christmas meal at Franklins!

      It wasn't an antique and bric-a-bac shop but an antique market with a number of different traders, the cafe supported all the dealers in bringing in custom, and was good enough to generate trade for them. It was Rodney Franklin's and his partners enterprise, he previously had an antique shop in Queenstown Road in Battersea. His late wife ran the cafe (she was a very fine actress, it was a 'resting' job).  It was on the corner of a junction on the left as you head towards Camberwell. And almost opposite, if memory serves at all, an MFI style furniture outlet.

      i used to go there in the late 80's and '90s (?) the food was served cafeteria style and there was limited choice, but what there was alays tasted amazing!  The garden was an absolute paradise, you could sit in it to lunch in the summer!  i've tried to locate its site but Walworth Road has changed so much since then - does anyone remember the house number?
