Seeing as we're now into the final week of the transfer market what and who do you want at your club and what realistically to you expect to happen.

At Spurs our recent record isn't too good after largely wasting most of the Bale money two seasons ago. I expect Daniel Levy will be up to his usual last minute car boot sale bargain hunting tricks or because he's left it too late spunking the lot on a load of shit.

What has been abundantly clear is that we need another striker to accompany Harry Kane so stop fart arsing about and pay the fecking money for Berahino.

Also we're desperate for an experienced holding midfielder. Wanyama could work but would also be very costly prizing him away from Southampton. I'd really like to see some more flair in midfield too. Someone who can spot a pass and chip in with a few goals. I'd happily take Oscar off of Chelsea's hands if he is now surplus to requirements since Pedro's arrival.

Speaking of Chelsea, they pay just ?21 million for a bona fide winner in Pedro but Spurs laid out ?30 million for an inexperienced kid in Lamela two seasons ago and we're still waiting for him to come good. Makes you bloody sick. But that's my club. Too often flattering to deceive.

There have been so many players linked to United it's hardly worth speculating what will happen, if anything. But as you asked, we won't get anyone and Fellani will become our centre forward. Ed Woodward was in Barcelona last week. Not to get Pedro but to get Neymar. Yeah, right. How many players use interest from United as a tool to get a salary increase? If I had a hope it would be that Bale or Ronaldo get fed up with Benitez very quickly and United get one or the other.

From a Spurs point of view Austin is too similar to Kane. We need someone slightly different to play off him, hence our interest in Berahino and our purchase of Clinton Njie both of whom can more easily enable us twiddle with our system allowing us to play 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 instead of continuously playing 4-2-3-1 with Harry isolated up front on his own.

While we're at it. Any takers for the wage thief? Come on, someone must want him.

He does look knackered and I'm not completely against the idea of buying someone like Austin but our recent signing Clinton Njie can play through the middle as well as out wide. Having two out and out centre forwards in the first team means one player is always going to miss out.

I was going to write something but Maxxi kindly did it for me.

Interestingly, FFP seems to have gone out the window.

Pleased with Liverpool's point from last night (would have taken the point before KO). Arsenal did have a good goal disallowed, but also survived the first half by the skin of Chech's teeth. Arsenal better side in the second half, but I know a couple of my Arsenal supporting mates were pleased with a point after 90 minutes.

    • Maybe if you indicated what you were reviewing, pub, gastro pub, high-end gourmet, local Italian etc. - whatever classifications you wanted, then you need only indicate that your stars referred to overall quality in that category. So it it's pub grub then 5 stars means it's great pub grub, but not the same experience as 5 stars in a high end gourmet category. Your star system could then include implicitly value for money as well.
    • Does OP know they can sell everything but alcohol even without a license?😄
    • Thanks, it's a real dilemma whether to do star ratings. A few people have asked me to do them but I've tried to resist as they are too reductive - people will look at them and won't read review! and they are difficult too - my last review of Victoria Inn, i'd give it five stars for value for money - how can you knock two courses for £18? – but 2 stars for quality - edible but nothing special. Which I guess is why some sites give star ratings for different things...
    • ok - Jeremy himself is against mandatory vaccines. Is he as extreme as his brother? No? Is it fair to discuss how the overall view of that family would inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic? I would argue very much so
