Jah Lush
I know. Long way to go. I keep tipping Leicester to lose but they keep winning. They've got to start dropping points soon. The Arsenal haven't won in four now but I think that will change at the weekend. Otta
Leicester have Arsenal and City next. Don't think those matches will necessarily decide the title, but if Leicester can take 4 points from them, they'll be on the charge with real belief.I totally want Leicester to win the league, and if not them, then City to win it for their outgoing manager (thought it was nice to hear his players saying they love playing for him and want to win some trophies for him this season). Otta
I read that yesterday. I love that Liverpool have the question "Why are Liverpool so bad?" as one of theirs. If you click on it it takes you to this articlehttp://bleacherreport.com/articles/1320844-20-years-of-bad-decisions-the-liverpool-fc-wayWas a trip down memory lane. I'd forgotten some of those players altogether. Just highlights how many rubbish signings Liverpool made again and again, whilst Man United were signing star after star for less money than LFC were paying for total shite. titch juicy
Yes, but you haven't scored for 3 games or won in five, against lesser teams than Leicester. You might be defensively pretty sound, but will you be happy with a 0-0 at home?Barring an injury to Mahrez, Leicester will win it now I think. They have a potentially tough last three games (United away, Everton home and Chelsea away) but we've been talking about their 'tough' games where they'll slip up all season. And they keep brushing them aside.Anyway, let's talk about Dele Alli. 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 11 league games. Nailed on for Goal of the Season and Young Player of the Year. And now, according to a respected Swiss football research centre (used by FIFA, UEFA and top European clubs) he's the most valuable teenager in European football, by a distance. Link below. All this for a 19 year old that was playing third tier last season.http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/dele-alli-26m-tottenham-star-is-europe-s-most-valuable-midfielder-a3167331.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/241/#findComment-958751 Share on other sites

Indeed. Spurs will get good money for him when he leaves this summer. Jah Lush
Thankfully, I know you're just winding Titch up, Otta. Last season it was Harry Kane. Hopefully, both and the majority of the current Spurs squad will be around to grow and enjoy success together for a long time to come.I've developed a bit of a man crush on Dele Alli. He really is something else. Probably my favourite Spurs player since Teddy Sherringham. Mick Mac
It's maybe Leicester v the north London duo. Is there a north london derby left this season. If so that could be tasty and even a title decider. That would be something. red devil
Top four play each other this weekend, should be a couple of humdingers. If Leicester beat Arsenal, it really is their title to lose...I can't believe I've just written that :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/35029-football-focus/page/241/#findComment-959124 Share on other sites
Parkdrive
I said somewhere previously on this thread that if Leicester do win it, it will be like a breath of fresh air, and hopefully shake things up within the Prem, but I some how doubt it. Otta
Yeah I really want them to win the title, but still just can't see it. One or two injuries could totally derail them, especially if to key players. But I live a fairytale, and fingers crossed they'll get over the line... Mick Mac
My view is that its never easy to get over the line when you haven't won it before or even for a while - as Newcastle under Keegan showed, and Man United under Ferguson and Arsenal under George Graham. Even big leads can disappear, confidence goes, nerves kick in (Newcastle could hardly string a pass together in the matches after the 4-3 defeat to Liverpool). I thought Arsenal had blown it in 1989. Experience counts for a lot in the run in and "giving" anyone the title before April is silly.
