It's the first time Celtic have lost a home Scottish Cup tie after taking the lead since a 2-1 loss to Hearts in March 1921. The empire is obviously crumbling, I think Mick needs to start a The end of the Celtic Glory Days thread...

I was looking at the BBC Website and thought Man U had won it late on. Only realised a minute ago that Fulham had drawn it even later on!

Actually feel sorry for Moyes, as apparently he REALLY celebrated what he must have thought was the winner, and now idiots are blaming him for today.

Chelsea 92 (-3) Liverpool

Liverpool 86 (-3) Man Utd

Arsenal 85 (-9) Chelsea, Everton, Spurs

Man City 81 (-12) Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd

Everton 78 (-6) Chelsea, Newcastle

Spurs 77 (-9) Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle

Man Utd 71 (-9) Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle

Newcastle 70 (-6) Arsenal, Liverpool

This is how the top 8 would finish if they won all of their remaining games except away games to other top 8 teams.Jos?'s little pony would win. I wonder how close it will be to reality?

'I know people are starting to say I'm paranoid but that's not you in there is it Fergie?'

Jose Mourinho, during his first spell at Chelsea used to make me laugh. He was a breath of fresh air with his jokes and interviews.

These days I read stories like this, and I find that I really dislike him. What the hell has that got to do with him?

Yes - unbelievable, you get it for riding a bike these days. Footie is the national sport!

He plays all the angles - they are obviously his main title rivals - anything to weaken them.

Sadly, 'Sir Bobby' as we irons do call him, died before the 1990s Football 'Renaissance' had happened and Blair, folllowed by Cameron, started dishing out Knighthoods to footballers/cricketers/cyclists, et al to show their 'streetcred'. FWIW West Ham treated him like crap until he died too.

    • We had lunch here today. It was really good. I had a salad bowl with falafels. You don't have to have chilli and garlic - they ask you when you order. It was a really generous portion, all very fresh, and the excellent salad  came with three very  large and tasty falafels, two stuffed vine leaves, hummus and tahini. Excellent value. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but around £6 to £7. My partner had a wrap, which he said was good too, and a freshly squeezed juice. We ate in, but I took half of mine home to eat later. There were people in front of us, but we didn't have to wait long. They have a loyalty card - free drink the third time you go, free side the sixth time and a free wrap or bowl the tenth time. Highly recommended!
    • No need to wait until next year. They always run a post event feedback meeting. And yes, they were using some new contractors this year because the previous ones were not good enough by their own admission.
    • Sorry for dragging this back on topic, but earlier I had a discussion with Luca the site manager who was also singing the praises of the 'new' waste management team. He invited me on to the ground to the east of the 'parkrun start' path to check out how well they'd done. Within 20 paces I'd picked up (and given to him) 2 cellophane filter tip wrappers, 3 fag butts, a 2" screw, assorted scraps of plastic wrappers....! He awkwardly then said they were still onsite, and sent 1 guy out to litter pick. He also made the statement that it's "an impossible task". I will be over there tomorrow to find, collect and document all the remaining litter, to assist with next year's consultation. I think it's important to pass on that type of information?
    • Hi My friend who’s a local tree surgeon unfortunately had his small Stihl petrol chainsaw stolen last week. As a tree surgeon, this is pretty gutting.    I wondered whether anyone on here might have a spare secondhand one that they don’t use anymore. Or perhaps one that’s been left in a shed or garage gathering dust that isn’t needed. Joe would be delighted and very grateful if we could magic him a replacement soon! 🤩 Thanks so much!  Claire (07946) 728879
