Hi there,

are you available for a few days work at my flat in Brockley I need to get it ready for new tenants. Starting 3rd/4th October. Mostly painting the walls but a few jobs in the bathroom too.. replacing seal round bath. Odd jobs in the flat. If you are interested please call me 07931 617381 (Stef)

Just a quick message to say Casper came round this morning to put up a new shower screen and he was great.

Timely, friendly, professional, reasonably priced and we’re happy with the final result.

Thanks Casper!

I can highly recommend Casper! He’s done lots of jobs at ours - tiling, painting, fitting a wood worktop and window sill, lots of handyman jobs.

He’s reliable, tidy and his fees are really reasonable. He’ll come up with ideas for fixes, recommend and pick up necessary supplies.

He’s also done jobs for a couple of neighbours that they were happy with.

Overall, a great service.  Drop him a message on 07949 026056

Yet another recommendation for Casper the  handyman.   He recently completed some odd jobs around our house including installing curtain rails and hanging pictures.  He offered practical solutions to the issues that arose, was efficient and communicative.  Very reasonable rates. We’ll be using his services again and have recommended to family & friends.

    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
    • That is also a Young's pub, like The Cherry Tree. However fantastic the menu looks, you might want to ask exactly who will cook the food on the day, and how. Also, if  there is Christmas pudding on the menu, you might want to ask how that will be cooked, and whether it will look and/or taste anything like the Christmas puddings you have had in the past.
