If so would you like to meet up before the first day?

My daughter is starting in Ms Wiltshire's class in September. We received an offer of a place very late due to the bulge so my daughter has not even seen the school or met the teacher and knows no-one going there. I'd love her to see another friendly face on the first day. Or if your child is already there and you'd like to meet up that would be wonderful. We live near Peckham Rye Park and Fridays are generally best to meet up as I work part time - or weekends, although we could try another day if that would work better for you.

Thanks all xx

Hi, My son took a late place in Ms Wiltshire's class too. We would love to meet up. We could meet in Peckham Rye Park in Fri 23rd or any other day that week or Fri 30th. We met Ms Wiltshire the day before the end of term and she was really nice. The classroom seemed lovely too, they are doing it up over the summer.

Let me know what works, I am really excited about a meet up.

Great! Good to hear you met the teacher and that they're working on the classroom.

Friday 30th works really well for me. Shall we aim for 10am in Peckham Rye park? Anyone else also welcome! I have a 3 year old girl as well I'll be bringing.

X

We have to stabilise public services and start paying down our national debt to break free of the sway bond markets have over UK governments freedom to act. We are probably all going to have to work longer too. The original UK state pension was there to help those who often had been in physically demanding manual or labouring jobs. The retirement age was set above average life expectancy at the time; It was not designed for a population of mainly white collar workers people to spend one-quarter, to one-third of their adult life in retirement. I know that may sound harsh, and I certainly don't want to work forever, but the fact is that we have an aging population and a diminishing tax base, and no politician who is willing to make fundamental reforms. Mostly we need to grow, and that means at some point, addressing our relationship with the world's largest trading block right on our doorstep. The damage done by Brexit has been crazy. The fact that it's chief architect has managed to come up smelling of roses and may potentially be our next PM is just mind blowing to me.
