AcedOut
This may be controversial, but how is a controlled tan under a sunbed any worse than exposing yourself directly to the sun? I thought modern sunbeds filtered out the most harmful UV anyway. Like anything, it's all about doing things in moderation, right?Personally, I'd rather not have chemicals rubbed into my body and can spot a fake tan a mile off. I can't help thinking about that orange girl off the last series of The Apprentice! lol Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3539-fake-tan/page/2/#findComment-110909 Share on other sites
jumpinjackflash
I dunno what's worse - real sun or sun bed so can't answer that. The spray tan at Natura sun and St Tropez, if applied PROPERLY, are not orange and there is no way you would tell it's fake. Been using St Tropez for years on my boat race and I don't look like I have been tangoed! Actually, I may have already posted this question on here in an old thread. Anyway, for the record, I reckon crack would hurt most.Aaaaanyway, Do what you've gotta do Charlie, but if I were you, I'd just go as you are... Besides, if you are pale, and don't tan very well, then I'd imagine if would be pretty obvious that you had a fake tan on, and you don't want it backfiring. RosieH
No no no. Think of julian rhind tutt (sp?) No tan - prime almost-radioactively-glowing white weedy candidate for bullying. SteveT
Why choose a beach holiday if you are so shaky about your bodily image?Trekking holidays in the northern hemisphere or skiing in winter seem more appropriate. Brendan
Men have used fake tan in the past. The results are not pretty and very few ever recover. Most of them can't integrate back into society and are forced to live out their days as slave labourers in factories run by insane megalomaniacs. Brendan
That's the "before" shot. Sure you think you're da man on the costa del sol but next thing you know you're doing 19 hour shifts in the sweet boiling room and being forced to sing for the master's guests. dulwichmum
I must admit that I saw Graham Norton walking along the strand between South Bank and London Bridge on tuesday morning, and he was the colour of a satsuma. I wonder if he is so famous now that people are afraid to be honest with him? How sad. I really have to say though, Mel does a super fake tan and it lasts for a week... Jill036
Before tanning it is necessary to choose lotion for protection from the sun. I think it's better to do it yourself. And cheaper and safer for health.
