This may be controversial, but how is a controlled tan under a sunbed any worse than exposing yourself directly to the sun? I thought modern sunbeds filtered out the most harmful UV anyway. Like anything, it's all about doing things in moderation, right?

Personally, I'd rather not have chemicals rubbed into my body and can spot a fake tan a mile off. I can't help thinking about that orange girl off the last series of The Apprentice! lol

I dunno what's worse - real sun or sun bed so can't answer that. The spray tan at Natura sun and St Tropez, if applied PROPERLY, are not orange and there is no way you would tell it's fake. Been using St Tropez for years on my boat race and I don't look like I have been tangoed!

That's alright then Charlie, if there's a firearm involved it'll give you a chance to reclaim some machismo.

Reminds me of a conversation had some time ago with some friends as to whether the back, the crack, or the sack would be the most painful... Actually, I may have already posted this question on here in an old thread. Anyway, for the record, I reckon crack would hurt most.

Aaaaanyway, Do what you've gotta do Charlie, but if I were you, I'd just go as you are... Besides, if you are pale, and don't tan very well, then I'd imagine if would be pretty obvious that you had a fake tan on, and you don't want it backfiring.

Geeza Bird!!! ;-)

I must admit that I saw Graham Norton walking along the strand between South Bank and London Bridge on tuesday morning, and he was the colour of a satsuma. I wonder if he is so famous now that people are afraid to be honest with him? How sad. I really have to say though, Mel does a super fake tan and it lasts for a week...

Heya...

Im new to this site, but just thought i'd drop my "two cents".. lol.. My mate at gym uses something called xen-tan. its not supposed to make you go orange.. (but i wouldn't notice if he were!) he gets it from ebay or leanmachines.co.uk. think they're about the same price... hope this helps! :-)

    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
