Emmie42
Hi, I just got a cat and was wondering if anyone had any Cattery recommendations for when we go on holiday? I’d prefer a cattery rather than having a pet sitter. Thanks in advance! pearl1
It's not easy finding a cattery so if you do end up needing a cat sitter, I used London Cat Sitting for several months and they were very good. TWB Cat Sitter
Hi Emmie, Cats are very territorial, so please just be aware that they don't like being taken out of their home environment, & it could lead to behaviourial issues further down the line. Please do consider using a trusted & reliable cat sitting company. We are always happy to help https://www.thewinglessbird.com/ [email protected] 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356992-cattery-recommendations/#findComment-1699289 Share on other sites

I have always found that as long as they are fed once or twice a day cats are fine on their own for 2 or 3 weeks. Much better than they would be in a cattery. 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356992-cattery-recommendations/#findComment-1699312 Share on other sites

Pugwash
Friends who live in the area come in to feed our cat whenever we go away for a few days. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356992-cattery-recommendations/#findComment-1699420 Share on other sites
claresy
Quote In my experience cats hate catteries - much better to have someone come to the house or stay if that's possible. Also more security for your house. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/356992-cattery-recommendations/#findComment-1699435 Share on other sites
