Scrap plaster board, In a skip near you??

I'm looking for a small piece ( say 12" x 12") of 12.5 mm plasterboard so I can patch a couple of holes in the ceiling where we had down lights.

Plaster board is one of the most common items that go on skips so hoping I can get a positive outcome fairly soon.

Some of the diy stores sell small boards something like 600x600mm. Or southark recycling centre has a dedicated plasterboard container, there are also a few skips on Crystal Palace road
