Public Transport to Lambeth Bridge - any suggestions?

How long des no.12 take from Plough to Lambeth Bridge around 7:30? Is it worth getting 176/40 and walking from Elephant?

The '3' goes direct to Lambeth Bridge.

You can pick it up from Crystal Palace or Herne Hill.

185 goes to Vauxhall which is 10 min walk from Lambeth bridge.

Yep 185 is quickest - to Vauxhall Bridge then walk along river.

I would get the 63/363 to Elephant as it's much, much quicker.

Taking the 185 at 7:40am got me to Lambeth Bridge at 8:35. Is this standard? If it were just me, I'd cycle or run as it's only 4 miles but I'm taking children.

unless you passed a major incident that held you up, then yes it's probably standard !

If you're open minded to travel you'd be better offer bus hopping to vauxhall (if that's the way you're going to go). Any bus to Camberwell then choice of 185, 36 and 436... I'm surprised it too you that long thought, was it the time it took from vauxhall to lambeth bridge?

Thanks KK. It was mainly Camberwell New Road between Camberwell Green and Vassall Road. It's just a bit frustrating given it's not very far!

I used to get the bus to elephant and castle and then get the 344 or C10 this was much quicker than travelling along camberwell new road.
