40th birthday venue suggestions- HELP!!!!

We are organising my husbands 40th birthday drinks, have left it a bit late it's next month!! Ideally a private room in a pub/ bar where you can have your own music.Central or near a tube in south London as people coming for all over London. Approx 25 people ish - does anyone have any good recs of places they have been/ hired?????
