  1. We spotted our first swift of the year on 8th May in The Gardens
  2. Our locally based eCommerce business is looking for some ad hoc assistance with Google Ads and Google Merchant. Ideally, we'd love it to be someone local who can come into our office to work with the team here rather than a faceless agency (we've tried that!) Our website: https://edinburghcasting.com/ so you can see what kind of products we're selling :)
  3. Was it a jay, perhaps? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Any help re the rasping bird would be gratefully > received. Thanks

We can?t stop them from going in the house, but we slather the feeder pole with Vaseline then sit back and watch them slide down repeatedly 😀
  5. Without wanting to brag, we?re getting loads of small and larger birds visiting our feeding stations: Great, blue, coal and long-tailed tits Goldfinches Sparrows Robins Greater spotted woodpecker Starlings Jay Magpies Parakeets Wrens We?ve got high quality suet (not balls), peanuts and niger seeds in feeders on a very tall pole positioned next to tall shrubs that the small birds use on approach. We also have a wooden bird house feeder for the large birds that we put suet in. We?re in The Gardens, btw. Hope that helps!
  6. We're a local business selling fun craft products using video on social media where we have a large Facebook following of over a million fans and followers. We've had a fun and original idea for a gender reveal video so we're looking for local parents who know the gender of their baby and would like to announce the gender to family and friends in a really original and interesting way. In return for taking part, there'll be free fizz for your guests, a unique keepsake and a video memory of a really special moment. I can reveal more if you PM me!
  7. Stan?s a great find. He?s thorough, very knowledgeable, always arrives on time and makes an effort to get to you as soon as possible. I like that he always puts little blue covers over his shoes before coming into the house so as not to make a mess; and is at pains to find the most cost-effective solution. His prices are very keen, in fact he even refused to take payment for a very small job on one occasion. Thank you, Stan. We?re delighted to have you as our plumber!
  8. New favourite is this amazing place in Copeland Park. Well tucked away, but so worth finding. [kanpai.london] Downstairs they brew stunning, award-winning sake and upstairs they have a tap room where you can sample the freshest sake you?ll ever taste in this country. We also tried a gorgeous sake-based cocktail. You can slurp some of their Barman?s Ramen while you drink. Only open at the weekend, but an absolute gem!

  10. Head to the very corner of The Gardens, No 17, if you?re nearby or on your way to Aneto 😀
  11. Highly recommend Stan (Gas Ray). He always comes as soon as possible, is extremely punctual, wears special covers on his shoes to protect your floor and has sorted out various boiler issues and leaks for us very quickly and very reasonably. He wouldn?t accept any money for coming out and re-sealing our bathroom taps. Very knowledgeable and thorough. He is certified to install various different boilers and will always quote you the best value for your needs. A good one! Tel 07479 465 706
