Enter Ms B in pink tights and fairy costume, balancing lightly on the back of the first of four cantering liberty horses and smiling at the crowd, who applaud wildly. How they gasp as she somersaults backwards and lands on the rump of the second horse as the band clashes cymbals, then to the third, then a double somersault to the fourth, where she opens her arms to the crowd again as they clap and shout for more.

(Not even convincing myself here but my inner child will thank me for it and none of you knows me anyway.)

The Flying Honaloochies group together, hands held.

Then HonaloochieB+ takes his place on the see-saw. HonaloochieB squares his manly shoulders, and Honaloochieb and Honaloochiebeta assist HonaloochieBeJaysus to a standing position atop the aforementioned manly shoulders.

He braces himself and takes a leap toward the raised end of the see-saw.

With immaculate timing HonaloochieB+ steps off the see-saw just before HonaloochieBeJaysus arrives at the other end.

The crack of breaking bone is audible around the arena. HonaloochieB+ is doubled up with mirth. HonaloochieBeJasus is is screaming with pain.

Clowns come on with a stretcher to take a way the injured acrobat. He leaves the ring bellowing threats and empracations at his nephew.

At one of the ring side seats a little girl is heard to ask "Mummy, what's a c*nt's trick?"

    • That's great to know. But when you compare it to the roughly  34,000 that Cat Protection rehome per year it does make you scratch your head a bit doesn't it..?
    • How do you know what the fox wanted to do if it didn’t do it.
    • Quote "it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me." Doesn't say clearly that it tried to bite you , but instead implies that you had the impression, right or wrong that it wanted to nip you.  unless you are clear others will read it how you write it.  As for being a jobsworth, what a quaint old expression, haven't heard that for a long while.
    • Crook locks can be sawn through, or the steering wheel to which it is attached, I know to my own cost. The safest additional security measure is what's called a ghost immobiliser, which cannot be traced through the car's electronics, meaning it is difficult to bypass. They cost a bomb however.
