Another knife attack in South London

So, that's murders in Old Kent Road, New Cross, Peckham Rye and now Thornton Heath in the space of weeks. And here I was moaning about the sound of bird song waking me up on another thread!.......

What horrified me most about his attack was the woman who cradled him reported him saying "I don't want to die ... I want my mum."

That completely broke me up. These victims and offenders are little more than children. Surely as parents and adults we can do something? I feel completely hopeless and helpless.

Quite common that. My dad said it when he died. It wiped me out, he was 65 yrs old!!

Another thread yesterday entitled "Double murder in south east London - New Cross" was also moved to the Lounge area for a similar reason, it was not East Dulwich specific and there were two other discussions on the same thing. Harris Academy discussions are suffering the same, there are four threads about that on the first page of the ED Issues/Gossip section so I have locked three of them.
