By chance II saw the band Truthpaste filming this whilst walking early in 2024, and was reminded when Mark Riley played the track the other night on Six Music

Wood Vale is pretty obvious, Netherby and Canonbie, One Tree Hill? Peckham Rye?

Perhaps you could be pleasant rather than pedantic.  This is supposed to be a bit of fun but you have managed to already make it divisive.  I expect others will be more jolly.

I spy Camberwell New Cemetery and crematorium, Wood Vale, Top of Forest Hill Road, Netherby Road and somewhere on the heights - maybe top of Canonbie?

Are you sure it's not Camberwell Old Cemetery, which is the one opposite Libretto's?

I've not done a forensic analysis - on a second viewing:

Going up Sydenham Hill from London Road/Lordship Lane, junction with Underhill and Langton with Camberwell Old Cemetery, Honor Oak Rec and the adjacent cemetery, Netherby Road and top of Canonbie (really don't see the point of Jazzer's post).

Of the woodland and open space, I thought One Tree Hill, some of it looks like Sydenham Hill Woods, but could also be Camberwell Old Cemetery.

I didn’t mean to suggest that!

I just had an idea that such a regular contributor to a forum about the local area would spot some of the more obvious locations featured in the video, even if they didn’t dig the tune.

1) Definitely top of Canonbie, looking North.

2) What used to be Francesca Cabrini school at the top of FHR.

3) Honor Oak playground, next to Camberwell New cemetery.
