jazzer Posted Monday at 14:46 Share Posted Monday at 14:46 (edited) We would like your views on proposals to expand the Superloop network with new route SL15 between Clapham Junction and Eltham in south London. By clicking on each of the buttons below, you can read more about what is proposed and how this may impact you. You can also view maps, ask questions, give feedback, and find out about other ways to get in touch and take part. You have until Sunday 30 November 2025 to give us your feedback. Proposals The SL15 would run between Clapham Junction and Eltham stations, via Tulse Hill and Catford, and would primarily follow the A205 South Circular Road. The following map shows proposed new route SL15 in its entirety. Also see the 'Proposed timings and bus stops' section below. The SL15 would operate as an express bus service. It would serve a limited number of key bus stops, including eight rail interchanges, local town centres and other busy locations along its proposed route. As part of the Superloop family the SL15 service would be frequent, simple, inclusive and reliable. At Clapham Junction, the route would start and end at Falcon Road. In Eltham, it would start and end at Eltham Station after serving the High Street. https://ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ce32459998ce01d44ce27d1f23c543bd84338c82/original/1759936980/3bc1b1bf3ec42ce77542fa4ddd82c87a_sl15-bus-stop-list.pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=AKIA4KKNQAKIJHZMYNPA%2F20251020%2Feu-west-1%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20251020T144535Z&X-Amz-Expires=300&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&X-Amz-Signature=14b917ef1198ddc641578b5a6648b00842f4e1d51aceadb3f4e1c928d0688b12 https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/sl15-superloop Edited Monday at 15:59 by jazzer 1 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/ Share on other sites

malumbu Posted Monday at 17:04 Share Posted Monday at 17:04 It will be useful from time to time particularly getting to west Dulwich. Dogkennelhillbilly Posted Monday at 17:17 Share Posted Monday at 17:17 @Sue - try this one to see the proposed bus stops. Everything after the question mark in the original is tracking code and sometimes they fall over. Also Amazon Web Hosting (which seems to host the document for TfL) has been wobbly today. https://ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ce32459998ce01d44ce27d1f23c543bd84338c82/original/1759936980/3bc1b1bf3ec42ce77542fa4ddd82c87a_sl15-bus-stop-list.pdf It's an express service so the only Dulwich relevant stops seem to be: * Tulse Hill Hotel for Tulse Hill * West Dulwich * Wood Vale/Lordship Lane * Forest Hill 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/#findComment-1724359 Share on other sites

Dogkennelhillbilly Posted Monday at 17:46 Share Posted Monday at 17:46 Anyway back to the bus service: it seems like a good idea to me. There are times when getting from Dulwich to Clapham Junction would be very useful, and the 37 is lovely but slow... 3 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/#findComment-1724363 Share on other sites

The train from Denmark Hill to Clapham High Street takes only 4 minutes and it's only a few more minutes to Clapham Junction. I'm off Lordship lane and I prefer to hop on a bus to Denmark Hill than take the sluggish 37. Katherty Posted Monday at 21:15 Share Posted Monday at 21:15 This bus route would be great. Even though it's close, it often seems tricky to get to Clapham. It would also be good to have another bus route to Brixton. It feels hard to get there. The 37 can be slow at certain times but that route regardless of stopping is slow due to sheer weight of traffic. Seriously, I live in Dulwich and use Denmark Hill regularly because its well served by the 40, 176, 185 and 484. If I time it right I can be in Canary wharf or Clapham Junction within 20 minutes. The overground has been a real positive since it started. I used to DJ in Dalston and it took hours to get there at one point. Can do it in just over 30 minutes now. 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/#findComment-1724383 Share on other sites

Cyclemonkey Posted Tuesday at 06:23 Share Posted Tuesday at 06:23 For those of us in Forest Hill this is great news. As well as a better connection to Clapham, a quicker route to Catford is very welcome, as we often use Catford stations a lot for the Thameslink and to go down to Bromley and Beckenham. A stop in Brixton would be welcome. Yes we have the P4. But have you ever used the P4? 1 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/#findComment-1724390 Share on other sites
ED4LYF Posted Tuesday at 08:45 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:45 (edited) Here you go, original post has this link which includes the map: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/sl15-superloop But here's the direct map: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/43267/widgets/136130/documents/93465 It does take the P13 a loooong time to get to Tulse Hill, so actually even just cutting that part of the route out wouldn't be a bad thing for an onward connection. sunshine_m
The P4 has to be the most sometimeish bus in the area. I'd love if the route went via Brixton after the West Dulwich stop e.g. Herne Hill - Brixton - Clapham Common - Clapham Junction 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368797-sl15-proposed-express-bus-service-between-clapham-junction-and-eltham-consultation/#findComment-1724656 Share on other sites
