DulwichFox
Hi jane1. I think 25 is a large group.. It would be difficult for any place to deliver that many meals at the same time. The Curry Club goes out every month to different Curry restaurants. We go out as a Group of 10-12. Some places find this difficult. A group of 25, some food may arrive cold. intexasatthe moment
I went once to Fox on the Hill ,Denmark Hill and enjoyed the Xmas dinner there .It was the first time they'd done it though and not sure if they are still doing it ?Last year went to Alleyns Head and wouldn't repeat .Pricey for what was eventually delivered .Terribly crowded ,long ,long wait for table ,service clearly overstretched .It seemed that the main aim of management had been to cram as many people in as humanly possible . Strawbs
Not so local but what about a Toby Carvery? They might be able to find space for 25 and you dont have to wait for meals to be cooked then either as you all just line up and get it. japseylarue
We went to Weatherspoons in Forest Hill last Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a good choice for both meat-eaters and veggies. The only downside was that there was too much food - huge portions- so a lot was wasted.
