Hi jane1.

I think 25 is a large group..

It would be difficult for any place to deliver that many meals at the same time.

The Curry Club goes out every month to different Curry restaurants.

We go out as a Group of 10-12. Some places find this difficult.

A group of 25, some food may arrive cold.

I went once to Fox on the Hill ,Denmark Hill and enjoyed the Xmas dinner there .

It was the first time they'd done it though and not sure if they are still doing it ?

Last year went to Alleyns Head and wouldn't repeat .Pricey for what was eventually delivered .

Terribly crowded ,long ,long wait for table ,service clearly overstretched .

It seemed that the main aim of management had been to cram as many people in as humanly possible .

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
