Anyone managed to unlock a Nokia 6300?

I have been trawling the internet and it seems that this model is extra tight and cannot be done remotely. The only way is to get the provider to do it at a cost but all the info I have got seems over 6 months old.

I wondered if anyone has managed it recently as this is a popular model of phone.

Hi Asset,

Money Saving Expert.com The Martin Lewis Site has an article on unlocking mobile phones. Type in Money Saving Expert .com in Google, when you reach the site type in the search box "Unlocking moblie phones" click search, all the information you need should be there. Hope this helps.

Yes, I've looked at all the unlocking sites.

The 6300 is a bb5 phone which is extra super duper locked and can't be done by putting in a code. I just wondered if anyone had managed it recently.

Looks like I'll have to phone Orange and ask them to do it, they'll want to charge me but I'm going to argue!

    • I've read this thread and made notes! So many useful tips! Would anyone have a recommendation for  a place that sells good quality topsoil that would also be able to drop from a tipper? 10 cubic meters minimum. Thanks in advance and any further advice on garden centres with good selection of shrubs/climbers would be welcome, I plan to visit them all. Garden is fully dug up with drainage just put in.
    • I reccomend Crab Salad-I used to have my hair cut by the owner when he was at Blue tit in Peckham...I moved with him to Cs when he opened it. I've had other stylists there when he was'nt available on the date I could make and they're all excellent. Its a nice vibe too-just very relaxed not too 'hairdressery' (If you know what I mean) and I've reccomended it to neighbours and colleages who've all been very happy. Its not the cheapest but nor is it super pricey and they use good products too.
