Where to recycle shoes & trainers please?

Where can I please recycle

- well used/worn out Asics trainers 

- partly eaten leather shoes

I think there is still a shoes/clothes recycling bank outside of North Dulwich station.

Think there is a shoe recycling bin by the Plough pub too (in the carpark).

In a similar  vein, are there any charity shops actually taking donations at the moment? ( after the usual post  Christmas chucking out phase, noone would take my things last week, they had too much already).

You can get bags from Oxfam to send stuff to them if charity shops round here won't take them.

That recycling bin isn't there any more unless I have missed it?

I just discovered that Runners Need and Cotswold Outdoor have a shoe recycling scheme. Haven't dropped mine in yet but next time I am near one will check it out.
