(Support now found). Tuesday afternoons from next week! After school nanny sought for 11 and 14 year old in Dulwich

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I'm looking for someone great for after school care on Tuesdays from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, from next Tuesday ideally (eek - realise that's v soon - started seeking last month but my eyes have been opened to how much of a cut the platforms take from nanny's pay. Thought would try posting on this forum).

No pick ups needed - the kids get themselves home from school and just need a friendly face around to say hi, encourage them to do their homework, and preparing a simple family meal. The younger one needs dropping to drama - a short walk from our house.

It's a 4 week arrangement at the moment as my work days have to change temporarily. They may change permanently after February half term so it could become a longer term opportunity, we'll know by mid Feb.

In case anyone keen! Would love to hear from you. Feel free to message and we'll take it from there.

Elly

    • These neighbours dislike trees period. They refused to have lost trees replaced by the Estate on our communal green. They don’t like the leaf and seed droppings. These make the grass look ‘messy’. Similarly, they don’t like my policy of leaving the tree leaves where they lie on the grass verge - hence chopping the overhanging branches. It’s like living in the 1950s. My neighbours have three gardeners with leaf blowers who come twice weekly to remove every leaf from their front lawns. Their grass is cut weekly and all the  cuttings put in multiple brown bins. It’s an outdated mindset of the moneyed classes in my view. But sadly, I’m very much in the minority.

    • Hope you are all leaving nesting material out.
