Yes, take politics out of education and respect the professionals who work within it.

Sounds like Briggs is a puppet of right wing interests - apart from her lack of professional qualifications and experience, how can you be suitable to be headteacher at just 27?

To be honest, so long as they had a good team around them, I'm not convinced that a head of a school in this day and age really needs to be a teacher. It's all about management and there is no teaching involved.

However, a 27 year old with no experience of education is a step too far.

link to responses against future taking over Pimlico school, there was a worry then of the

inexperience of future, it was very obvious there was a political agenda.

Crikey TE44 ,I rarely come across someone ( like me ), still bitter about Pimlico and Westminster's lies .

Remember the ones about the expansion joint in the old building being a giant crack ? And how scaffolding was the only thing stopping the building from falling down .And getting the building delisted ? And Steve Farnsworth sending someone over to collect a ( non existent as it happened ) foundation plaque for his leaving Westminster party ?

And his " this is not a rolling ballot ,you can't just vote for what you want " ?

Take the politics out of education .Not a chance .

    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why?
    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff

    • I do hope NOT, wouldn't trust Farage as far as I could throw him, Starmer & co.  He's backed by GB News which focus's predominantly on immigration while the BBC focus predominantly on the Israel - Gazza conflict.
