New Welsh Bakery/Coffee Shop - in time for St David's Day; if that's your thing (Choumert Road)

I popped in on Thursday 12th Feb for the soft launch of Bara - 

Bara - founded by chefs Cecily Dalladay and Zoe Heimann (former head chef of Clapham Pique Cafe) has opened up at 44-46 Choumert Road.    I tried their Bara Brith and a Miso Brown butter cookie;  both were really good - everything is baked in-house.  

Bara also offers breakfast and there were some interesting sandwich fillings, together with a weekend menu.  They have an  IG account  @baracafelondon and website www.baracafe.com  - telling you what it's all about.   Anyone for a Welsh beer?  also on the menu.

I have no connection to this bakery, apart from living fairly close to it.

This im looking forward to with St David’s day around the corner I hope they will sell proper Welsh cakes!
