Don't know why I put Frames.. I meant Tables....

I use DIVs and (AP DIVS new to Dreamweaver CS6)(Formally Layers) defined in CSS which can be then positioned

anywhere on the page and have Transitions applied to them.

Charlie MM? I spent a personable Saturday with him a couple of Saturdays ago - when the 6 x 6 had to be extended. Going to throw my head in on Saturday to see if the bars open, hopefully will be if you are there tomorra. He did say they hoped to have a soft launch all being well this week. Good luck to them.

So do I. I was very surprised. I'm sure the food will be worth the money, but I shan't be able to afford to eat there.

I suppose it's a "community" pub for the rich part of the community. The way this area is going, that's probably most of the community.

Oh well. Good luck to them. I must admit from the way things were going earlier in the year I never thought it would get this far, so I have been proved wrong.

Back to the street art on the side of the Patch, the original purpose of this thread.

If you would like to meet one of the people who organised the street art around Dulwich - me - Im giving a talk/showing a short film/brokering a discussion tomorrow evening (Wed 14th) at 7.30 upstairs at the EDT. Its part of the Dulwich Festival http://www.dulwichfestival.co.uk/event/dulwich-street-art-inside-story

I can explain why the stars and stripes, let you know what the artist, Mear One, is like, and debate the inevitable issues associated with street art. Im dying to meet some of the people behind these EDF names!

I know this is an old thread, but does it not bother anyone that this mural was done by the antisemitic Mear One? https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/mar/28/antisemitism-open-your-eyes-jeremy-corbyn-labour

The man responsible for the Hanbury Street mural that was eventually painted over. It does me, every time I go past it.

Gosh, I never knew that but now when you look at the two, there is a lady and child on the right hand side of the Hanbury Road mural that look almost the same as those in Pellat Road. There is also a very similar hand gesture in both murals.

Care to expand on this supposition?

I see you have just joined the forum and both your posts so far are on this topic.

Yes...same signature too.

My posts so far have been on this topic as this is a thread about that topic.

And I'd say it's more than a supposition; do I need to provide my own evidence? Several party members have left recently over the issue, which of course they've been investigated for. I just thought the existence of a very prominent mural by a racist artist - who is also a very politically-motivated one, I'd say - doesn't seem a good thing, to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mear_One

I'm not partisan, and do not want to enter a discussion on the Labour (or any other) party.

So why did you bring Labour into it at all then?

My understanding was that it was The Patch who had commissioned this mural, or else that it was done as part of the ongoing street art project in association with Dulwich Art Gallery, but if that's not the case, I'm sure somebody on the forum will know.

I generally don't like inviting strangers into my home for any reason really but when you have a repair you have no choice. Andy is a kind, very pleasant  decent guy. But most of all he's, trustworthy, very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about his work! He wants to solve the problem for you and keep the customer happy. He was very kind to work around my schedule to sort my repairs. I live alone and I'm very comfortable in his company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's what you want in a tradesman. Someone who's decentand really talented. I'm so glad I crossed paths with him. Andy goes the extra mile to resolve your issue. Don't think twice, just book him!! 07983 688451
    • I walked by Honest Burger around lunchtime today and they had just opened. They haven’t publicly promoted the opening yet because they were focusing on the building work, but the guy I spoke to was really friendly.  They’re giving away free lemonade as an opening promotion and mentioned that residents should download their app because they can get a free meal after buying a certain number of meals.  Sounds like they also do takeaway as well. I told him that Honest had been trending on the EDF, so I would post about today’s opening.
