Hello WoD. I took 5 kids to this last year, ranging from 7 up to 14. They all had a brilliant time. It is really exciting stuff. I booked it months in advance and we sat on the front row, which was very nice because the kids got a lot of attention. The kids were even more excited because Helena Bonham Carter was sitting just behind us with her little ones. That's a big deal if you're a kid and a Harry Potter fan.

The performers stay on after the show has finished to play with the kids. There is lots of snow and big balls and it is quite magical. Whatever you do don't buy the cheap seats in the balcony though - you don't get to play, you just get to watch everyone else playing.

Adults love it and kids love it and even a goth teenager took an afternoon off from "being cool" and enjoyed it. At the end of the show you see grandparents and toddlers all playing in the snow. Everyone comes out smiling. They don't chase you out immediately afterwards as they know that people like to hang around and play for a bit.

DON'T BUY SEATS IN THE BALCONY.

    • Paul's on lordship lane is a good place for garden plants.  He is based near the old harvester on the opposite side of the road he offers good advice on which plants will grow in different positions etc.
    • I've read this thread and made notes! So many useful tips! Would anyone have a recommendation for  a place that sells good quality topsoil that would also be able to drop from a tipper? 10 cubic meters minimum. Thanks in advance and any further advice on garden centres with good selection of shrubs/climbers would be welcome, I plan to visit them all. Garden is fully dug up with drainage just put in.
    • I reccomend Crab Salad-I used to have my hair cut by the owner when he was at Blue tit in Peckham...I moved with him to Cs when he opened it. I've had other stylists there when he was'nt available on the date I could make and they're all excellent. Its a nice vibe too-just very relaxed not too 'hairdressery' (If you know what I mean) and I've reccomended it to neighbours and colleages who've all been very happy. Its not the cheapest but nor is it super pricey and they use good products too.
    • I went last week and would recommend. I was very happy to see pricing based on hair length and especially a fringe trim price. I live nearby and don’t need it fully styled / blown out after a cut (curly so usually prefer to do it myself) so I like that it is variable pricing in that way.
