Recommendation - Kitchen and bathroom fitter, Aqua Build

I would like to recommend Robert and his team at Aqua Build. They are a local company who specialise in fitting kitchens and bathrooms.

They fitted our kitchen in Jan 13 and all is still looking good and working well.

The job was not straightforward due to other work happening in the house but they were courteous and professional throughout. They were also helpful with our requirements and offered advice and help when needed.

Before asking them to do our work I contacted other people from the forum who had used them in the past and all the responses were positive. I also went to see some of the previous work they had carried out.

Over the last couple of months a small problem arose with our worktop - not the fault of Aqua but they came and replaced it for us today - no problem.

Over the last 12 months we have had loads of work done on our house so I think I'm now qualified to say these are good, honest, hard working and professional guys who do a super job for a very fair price. We are very pleased with the results.

I would just like to second Goodliz and post my strong recommendation for Aqua Build. A few years ago they fitted a new bathroom to my flat and did a fantastic job. Last year, we needed a new kitchen fitted and Robert and his team provided a prompt, polite and cost efficient service. This was despite us changing our minds on the layout part way through the fitting. Since then we have had a problem with our electrics which we initially thought was due to a fault in the kitchen area, Robert and his team were at our house within the hour to help locate and fix the problem, despite it having nothing to do with the kitchen fit.

An honest, trustworthy and likeable team, I would not hesitate to reccomend them.

They've just done our bathroom too, and it's great. Robert had lots of helpful ideas and the team were very easy to have around. They were reliable, friendly and hard-working. We're really pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Robert and his team recently completed a top to bottom refurbishment of our bathroom. We were very happy with their work and with the final result. Very clear communication from the beginning to the end of the project. Robert attended to every question and query very patiently. His team are real craftsmen and and work to the highest standards. We felt it was real value for money. We really do recommend Aqua Build and have already done so to friends. Feel free to private message if you'd like any further info. I've attached a couple of photos of the work.

Contacted Robert on the basis of these great recommendations - we are looking for someone to refurb a bathroom urgently. He came round to look at the job and since then has not contacted us, or replied to our messages. It's so frustrating when people suggest they can take on a job and then disappear. At least have the courtesy to say "I can't do it any more". Particularly frustrating as it's really urgent.
I had the same experience as dj7. Setting up the consultation was a breeze and he came round to quote on my kitchen and two bathrooms. Never heard from him a gain and no response to an email. I didn't chase however as he'd obviously decided it wasn't worth the effort and I had two other reasonable quotes. But both of those fell through for various reasons.

    • Perhaps Gooseygreeny was not familiar with the wildlife before Gala was imposed on the park, since when its value to wildlife has deteriorated. The Park had never been disturbed before, as the council had respected it as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation, so only the Common was licensed by them as a site for events. The first time Gala held their event, there was a tree with woodpeckers nesting in it right in the middle of the main field they used and thrushes, blackbirds and great tits nesting within the shrubs and trees immediately surrounding the field. The woodpeckers were thriving on ants from the anthills in the grass. To those of us who used to enjoy watching the wildlife, it was very obviously a Site of Importance for a variety of birds. Despite being accessed by the public and their dogs, it had been relatively undisturbed,  which was one of the main reasons why it was so special and why I have been opposed to the Gala festival being held during the bird nesting season.
    • So dangerous!    Can you be more specific about the road this was in and when you report it?  Maybe there’s some CCTV footage available
