Search for trefford21 on the forum. He's created a genius map of catchment areas. Also think I remember reading on the forum somewhere that the catchment areas are all on southwark council website. And...pretty sure DKH has a wider catchment area than the one in 2011...

I tried googling previous years school brochures recently but every link ends up at this years one.

This years intake the catchment for DKH was 1054m and as you say it was due to their bulge year. I have a friend who got in on the waiting list who lives 1200+ away. I've been looking at catchments for DKH for a few years and from what I remember previous years catchments seem have been between 200 and 500 on offer day, but remember there is a lot of movement on the waiting lists, so you may well stand a chance at being offered a place later in the year. We are putting DKH as our first choice but are 400+ away, living in hope that the waiting list will work for us.

Really helpful information, Grotty! I think we have a good shot, though as was mentioned on a different thread, the next 3-4 years after a bulge year are more restrictive as places are offered to siblings from the bulge year. :-(. The question will really be timing, and wanting to avoid too much disruption for the LO.

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
